Live canvas painting

Live canvas painting is an unforgettable addition to any celebration, transforming the magic of your special day into a generational heirloom right before your eyes. As I paint throughout the day, your guests can watch the love, joy, and emotion of your big day be captured in time, forever!
Services include a gallery-wrapped canvas, live-painted during your wedding day featuring a moment of your choice - such as your ceremony, first dance, or a more private, candid moment. Your painting will appear complete by the end of the evening, but will come home with me to be further refined in-studio with fine detailing work, before delivery is arranged.

Before the big day: We will have a phone/video call to discuss your vision, and curate your experience. You are welcome to include planners in any communications, and collaboration with vendors for more personalized design is welcomed.
The day of: I arrive on-site about 2 hours before your ceremony begins, and begin to paint in the background as guests arrive. We will capture “the moment” either live as it happens, or in a brief posed photo session. Some couples like to review the shot before painting begins so we can retake it if they prefer! Throughout the reception you and your guests watch the moment come to life as I paint you two in. If you’re looking for that “grand reveal” moment, stop on by at the end of the night to see your love captured on canvas!
After: I will take the painting with me at the end of the night to further refine it in-studio, with up to an additional 20 hours of painting. Your painting will be complete within 3-6 weeks, then once approved we will arrange a pickup/delivery!

An interactive element sure to leave a lasting impression!

“Does our painting have to be a moment from the ceremony? What if we want something different?”
To put it simply- we can do anything! Painting is what I like to call “manual photoshop”. You can choose any background from the venue, any moment (posed after the ceremony/first look, or photographed live), paint things a bit differently than how they appear by eye, or leave it up to me for a true surprise!
“What if I wanted to gift this service to a loved one? How would that work?”
I am honored you would like to gift my services to your loved one, thank you! Whether you want them to be involved along the entire process or surprised on the day-of, we will make the perfect plan for you.
“Can you move your setup throughout the day?”
In short, yes. Moving locations is definitely an option; though it would require about 30 minutes for each move. Ask me if this would affect the timing for your wedding timeline in particular!
Live Guest Portraiture

A one-of-a-kind experience for your guests. Each watercolor portrait gifts your loved ones with a custom heartfelt keepsake, capturing the magic of your special day and allowing your guests to bring a piece of that love home with them!
Services include hand-painted, live watercolor portraits of your guests (5"x7", straight-edge or deckled-edge), a complimentary portrait of the newlyweds (available in 5"x7" or 8"x10" sizes), and protective sleeves for each portrait to ensure safe transport. I also offer optional customization add-ons to make each piece even more personal, details available on the next page.

Photos of your guests are taken as they enter the space.
While you all enjoy your evening together, I paint! The newlyweds are welcome to stop by at any point to have their photo taken, or a photo can be shared on their behalf.
At the end of the evening, finished portraits are laid out to be picked up as guests exit! Protective sleeves are provided to keep portraits pristine during travel home.

A live guest portrait experience adds an interactive and personalized touch to any event, offering guests the excitement of having their likeness captured in real time. “What if we have more than 100 guests, or less than 8 hours with them? How can everyone be serviced?”
If we will not have enough time together to get everyone serviced live, the rest of the paintings can be completed in-studio from the photos taken at the event, then mailed out to you within a week of your wedding date! Couples will often then distribute the remaining portraits with their thank you cards.
Alternatively, associate artists can be added to my team for the evening to service larger crowds, though availability is limited. Let me know if you would like to explore this option!
“Once we get in-studio portraits in the mail, how would we know who is who?”
I will package your portraits in small groups, with reference photos attached for easy recognition of who is who! You would be amazed how easy it actually is to recognize your guests based on their outfits and personal characteristics.
“Can we move your setup between multiple locations throughout the day?”
In short, yes. Moving locations is definitely an option; it would require there to be a table/chair setup in each location for me, but takes about 30 minutes away from painting for each move. Ask me if this would affect the timing for your wedding timeline in particular!
